Vertigo
2012 – Saint-Julien-en-Beauchêne, France
A spectacular dungeon stands on a vertiginous rocky outcrop. The gap between two rocks, defies Alejandro Guzzetti for a new challenge. La Rochette, an inaccessible area, visible from the road, has inspired him to create the installation of a giant spider web.
The artist has tried to appropriate the spirit of the animal in order to reconstruct the aesthetics and architectural charm of the web. To create a bridge resulting from the laborious weaving of ropes, and to put them in extension was his desire.
Confronted with the wind, the web has flown away, to another destiny.
