Il Giardino 4 Alejandro Guzzetti

Il Giardino di Ediacara

2014 Miniartextil – Como, Italia

This installation was created on the occasion of the 24th international exhibition of Miniartextil following the theme Gea. Alejandro Guzzetti has chosen to pay tribute to the origin of life and offers a scene from the Ediacarian era. According to his own vision of the Precambrian world, he perpetuated a moment of this mysterious period.
The cyclomedusas are sheltered in the heart of the original matrix, silent and quiet, represented by the shallow sea, adorned with a carpet of bacterial mats. Everything is fluid. The cyclomedusas rise towards the point of light where the sky joins the earth while the other specimens, fixed on the ground, attend the wandering of organic beings some of which still look for the shade.
